This has little to do with UV Skinz, but I feel that it is still noteworthy and I did get my first sunburn of the year because I was without my Skinz. Last Saturday I participated in Dodge Ridge’s Semi Annual Pond Skim Contest and Costume Extravaganza. I am not one for dressing up, but my friend Pat is, he won the costume portion of the contest being dressed as Jack Skelington from “A Nightmare Before Christmas.” He and I skimmed across the pond with the greatest of ease. This was the first time Pat or I had ever participated in a pond skim, but it won’t be the last.
