UV Skinz is very proud to say that we were one of the many sponsors to donate product and show support for the first annual Andrea Sheridan Memorial Melanoma Walk. The event was a 5k walk that took place May 21, 2010 in Ocean City, NJ. You can read a quote from Carly, the daughter of Andrea Sheridan below. Since the passing of their mother to the disease, Andrea Sheridan, Carly and her brother wanted to bring their community together to raise awareness about Melanoma and fundraise with all proceeds going to the Melanoma Research Foundation.

 Just to give you an update on our progress. We have successfully established a 5K walk to be held on May 22, 2010 in Ocean City, NJ. We have a contact at MRF and have arranged for all of the registration money, donations, etc. to go directly to them.

We had about 62 participants and raised over $7,000 for The Melanoma Research Foundation.  Thank you again for your donations, they were a great addition to our event!
